The skills that they need are the same skills that we are learning in Desktop Publishing. If they can draw by hand is helpful but not required because most of the drawings are done on the computer or downloaded from cameras or created from pen tablets which allow them to draw or edit by hand. They must also have good communication skills to create the product that everyone likes. One-third of all graphic designers work in their own homes. Doing that, they need to hire their own workers, they must also provide their own equipment and their own benifits. Demand for graphic designers is expected to increase as eletronic publishing becomes more popular.

Comparison between Dreamweaver and Publisher?

It is very easy to compare these two applications because for one thing creating web sites on Publisher is real easy because there is almost no work to be done and it is faster. Dreamweaver can be easy to but it takes more work than Publisher. It is easy if you know what you are doing and if you don't you might want to listento the person teaching it because she or he knows how to do and you don't!

Administrative assistants can work for one person or many people. They create documents that look professional and they need good communication anf writing skills to do that. They should know how to use the desktop publishing tools in Word. They also need to know how to format and lay out attractive newsletters that can be printed or published on a Web site.

It is a use of a computer to combine text and graphics. But this is not the only thing that made it lopok good, it also took planning and design. Organizations use it for advertising, newsletters, and other inportant document. But if businesses send out badly designed webs they give the customers a bad impression of them.

I will need a few things in hardware such as: a computer, a color monitor, a mouse and a keyboard. For software I will need the Internet, Microsoft Windows, Word, Publisher, Photoshop and Adobe lllustrator.

Why should I study desktop publishing?

I should learn desktop publishing because I need to learn about computers and learn about the Internet and how it works. I study desktop publishing because I was told by my mom that it would be a good class for me since I like computers and I wish become a graphic designer one day. I am taking this class because I want to learn to use photoshop, and microsoft publlisher.
